Reports She Was Warned on Multiple Occassions

Acording to a report earlier in the week by the UK Times, Sharapova had been warned on five separate occassions that the drug she was taking for health issues – meldonium – had been added to the list of banned substances. The warnings apparently came from governing bodies the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and also the Women's Tennis Association (WTA)
It's an often reported problem in professional sports that drug cheats face many ensuing problems – from loss of sponsorship to bans from their profession. In the fallout to her admission of taking a banned substance at this year's Australian Open tennis tournament, superstar Maria Sharapova is facing those problems now…
